How many kinds of knots do you know how to tie? In the construction industry, this is a valuable skill and something every builder should know.
In one of Construction Junkie's recent stories, they spotlight a veteran carpenter by the name of Scott Wadsworth. He hosts a YouTube Channel by the name of The Essential Craftsman. The channel features everything from framing to welding to safety to tool reviews.
In one of his videos, he lists the "5 Knots Everyone Should Know" and shows you how to make them.
The 5 knots that he suggests in the video, in order, are:
-Bowline, which is an end of the line knot
-Larks-head, a slip knot in the middle of a line
-Sheepshank, a knot used for tying a load down
-Water knot, which ties two lines together.
-“Fiddle String Knot,” as he decides to call it, which
he uses to pull a string line very tightly.
